Top 5 Wednesday

#TomeToppleReadathon is making a resurrection mid-November, so this week I’m looking at the big books on my TBR shelf that I can get too. The only rule being they must be at least 500 pages long!

Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare

After reading Lord of Shadows, I’m so excited to read this sequel. It doesn’t come out until early December. So I won’t get it in time for this Readathon, but I’ve already got my name down for it at my library and excited is an understatement after LoS’s devasting ending!

Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas

Kingdom of Ash is probably on most readers anticipated TBR, it’s definitely on mine and I can’t wait to see how this series end. This book is lower on my list of because it’s near 1000 page length just intimidates me a looot.

Dance of Thieves by Mary E. Pearson

This book came out early August and I’m still neglecting it! I knew I would read this book regardless, but I would’ve like to have seen more hype/reviews similarly to The Kiss of Deception series. It would’ve made me more excited to pick it up. But this month is definitely a good excuse to read it.

Vengeful by V.E. Schwab

I’ve waited so many years, there’s no way I’m not putting this book off any longer. I’m so excited to meet all the new characters in this sequel.

Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

I’ve been so desperate not to finish this series. As dramatically as I can put it, I honestly don’t know if I’m mentally prepared to read this book. (Really, I am, but like the emotional trauma I’m anticipating is not good.) But also I want to join in on the excitement with everyone, and be on the “ins.” It’s just collecting dust on my shelf, so maybe this will be the month!

Although the Readathon doesn’t start until mid-November, I’m already getting a head start and reading Venegful by V.E. Schwab! Will you be participating in this Readathon? Or maybe by coincidence plan to read some really long books this month. πŸ“š

  1. QOAAD is probably top of everyone’s list… mine too 😊😊😊
I loved KoA but I understand how intimidating it is… Dance of Thieves was a lot of fun and I loved getting to see some old favorite characters….
And Crooked Kingdom is just the best… I really hope you decide to read it because it’s the most wonderful sequel ever 😍😍😍

  2. OH VENGEFUL! I’ve been waiting for it for so long too, but I cannot make myself read it right away, for one reason or another. 😦 I might still be in denial that it’s the last that I’d be reading of Victor and Eli?
