Hello! My name is Carly, I’m 23 and from Australia. I’m an avid reader of romance, fantasy and young adult books, as well as the occasional science fiction or thriller. I wasn’t always a reader and in fact didn’t start reading until I was in my late teens. Like many introverted teenagers, I was glued to my laptop infinitely scrolling through Tumblr. It was there that I discovered John Green, whose novels epitomised tumblr in the early 2010s. The Fault in Our Stars was one of the earliest books I remember reading and loving. When I realised my friends and I didn’t share the same taste in books, I went on to Google videos about the books I loved. Consequently discovering Booktube and Goodreads, and a whole genre full of books like TFIOS.
