Hello everyone! How’s your week so far? Today is a T-day (aka its Thursday) so it’s the perfect day for a tag.
Today I’m doing the I DARE YOU book tag, which I saw Alex do on her amazing blog, Reading by Starlight. So as always when I see a tag I like, I nominate myself to do it!

In the fifth grade, Ryen and Misha are mistakingly paired as pen pals, their teachers not realizing they are pairing their students up with kids from the opposite gender. Although, it doesn’t take long for Ryen and Misha to figure out their teachers mistake. But in no time at all, they are arguing about everything. The best take-out pizza. Android vs. iPhone. Whether or not Eminem is the greatest rapper ever…
And that was only the start. For the next seven years, Ryen and Misha keep writing to one another and become best friends. They have only three rules – no social media, no phone numbers and no pictures – out of fear it’ll risk their friendship.
One day, Misha accidentally finds himself at the same party across town with Ryen. He can’t help but get to know the girl who’s been his muse for the last seven years. He just doesn’t expect to hate what he finds.
When Misha stops writing to Ryen, she’s devastated. He’s the only person that knows the real Ryen. Not the person she goes to school as everyday, the mean cheerleader that students are afraid of. Ryen fears Misha could be gone forever, but little does she know he’s right under her nose…

It’s winter here in Australia… and that usually means I’m in the mood for reading books that feature some kind of romance. I can say for most of June, this has been so true. I’ve been ploughing my way through all kinds of romance books and participating in romance readathons.
Despite reading obligations and TBRs… here are some of recent romance additions to my TBR that happen to feature central F/F relationships that I am so excited to get too!

I love how the discussion of Rainy Day Reads comes around seasonally. Of course, this topic can be interpreted differently by every reader, but that’s what makes it so much fun!
For me, my ideal rainy day read is simply something I find comfort in. Hearty books that aren’t too dense and don’t require using a lot of brain power to read. They might have fluffy romances & colourful characters that come off the page. This is what Rainy Day Reads are made for, at least in my world.

“I feel like too many girls fail to remember one vital truth: we deserve someone who gives us one hundred percent.”
Everyone says opposites attract. And they must be right, because there’s no logical reason why I’m so drawn to Colin Fitzgerald. I don’t usually go for tattoo-covered, video-gaming, hockey-playing nerd-jocks who think I’m flighty and superficial. His narrow view of me is the first strike against him. It doesn’t help that he’s buddy-buddy with my brother.
And that his best friend has a crush on me.
And that I just moved in with them.
Oh, did I not mention we’re roommates?
I suppose it doesn’t matter. Fitzy has made it clear he’s not interested in me, even though the sparks between us are liable to burn our house down. I’m not the kind of girl who chases after a man, though, and I’m not about to start. I’ve got my hands full dealing with a new school, a sleazy professor, and an uncertain future. So if my sexy brooding roomie wises up and realizes what he’s missing?
He knows where to find me.
I loved every moment of this book. And honestly, it’s the kind of book I just couldn’t put down.
I have to admit, before going into it I was in a bit of disbelief it was going to be as good as hyped reviews said. Mainly because I wasn’t a super-fan of Elle Kennedy’s Off Campus series. However I’m happily eating my words because The Chase has quickly become one of my favourite reads of 2019 and simultaneously making me fall in love with the romance genre.
