Hello bookworms! How are you? Today I’m doing a good ol’ book tag. I was tagged by fellow book bloggers Sahi and Lauren. Thank you both for the tag! 😊 This is the kind of book tag that’s getting me to re-evaluate my 130+ plus tbr, but I liked the way Lauren put it… this is a fantastic problem to have because it means great books are always being published!

A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read
From people I follow who have read this scifi book, I have only seen positive reviews about this motley crew on their journey through space. Which is super intimidating and why I’ve been putting this book off for years.
A book that’s been on your TBR forever and yet you still haven’t read it
I’ve had this book on my TBR for so long, I had completely forgotten what it’s about. But I know I added this because I like fantasy romance. So as long as there’s plenty of romance, I’m sure I’ll enjoy it.
A book in a series you’ve started, but haven’t gotten around to finishing
I’m actually really good at staying up to date with series, and don’t have any long withstanding books on my unread shelf that I need to read. My problem is that I have so many series I actually haven’t started. I made a whole top ten list last year of series I wanted to start, although there’s definitely more than 10 I want to start. This book about five royal sisters is probably one of the unread series I’ve had on my shelf for the longest
A classic you’ve always liked the sound of, but have never actually read
I don’t really care for classics and I never really have. Although I do pick up retellings when they make their way onto my radar. The latest YA retelling is Scavenge the Stars, which I believe is a South Asian inspired retelling of The Count of Monte Cristo, and also has many LGBT+ characters!
A popular book that it seems everyone but you has read
I added this groundhog day-esque, murder mystery book to my TBR solely because I kept seeing people talking so highly about it! I had to see what all the hype was for myself.
A book that inspired a film/TV adaptation that you really love, but just haven’t picked up yet
Love is a bit of a stretch when it comes to the Game of Thrones franchise. Although right now, this is the only series I’m reading that has an adaptation. I’m really interested in seeing how George R.R. Martin ends this series, so I’m currently playing catch up on the books. I’m doing well so far and the audiobooks are a big help in finish these books.
A book you see all over Instagram but haven’t picked up yet
I’m not currently active on bookstagram, so I had to do a bit of investigating. The Last True Poets of the Sea was one of the few books I saw people posting about that was actually on my TBR. This contemporary sounds so unique, I can’t wait to pick it up.
